"We Fight For Love" (also known as "Someday, Somehow, Someone's Gotta Pay") is a song by The Power Station, which features in the 1985 film Commando.
About the song
Recorded by The Power Station, the song was written by vocalist Michael Des Barres for the movie Commando through his friendship with the film's producer Joel Silver.
"We Fight For Love" is a cross between a love song and a rally-cry for a warrior, which features in the final credits of the Commando film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The title "We Fight For Love" was taken from the film poster, but the song did not appear on the original release of the Commando soundtrack.
From 1985 until 2005, the song was only available on Commando, featuring in the movie's end credits as "We Fight For Love". Then in 2005, Capitol-EMI released The Power Station CD (2 Disc Set) for which this song now appears as a bonus track under the new title of "Someday, Somehow, Someone's Gotta Pay".
