VH1 Ultimate Office Party is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded at the VH-1 Ultimate Holiday Office Party, Comiskey Park in Chicago, IL, USA on 13 December 1997.
About the album[]
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at Comiskey Park, a 47,098 capacity baseball venue that's home of the Chicago White Sox.
This was a private concert for VH-1 contest winner Kathy Mash, whose prize was invitations for fifty of her friends to the event. At the time, Kathy worked for the Chicago White Sox.
The album only contains the TV show recording, broadcast on VH-1 in December 1997. Because of the broadcasting rules, the TV version only features eight songs performed by Duran Duran.
Also included are bonus tracks, comprised of demos, remixes and an interview. The Story of Medazzaland is an interview taken from the Medazzaland: EPK video. The Nile Rodgers' remix of "Skin Trade" is the Parisian Mix.
