VH1: The Big 80's Pop is a 16-track compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released by Rhino Records on 15 May 2001.

About the album[]

The album is a collection of songs by various artists, which is part of a nine CD series that also includes the titles Power Ballads, Big Hair and Arena Rock. Featured are songs broadcast on the VH-1 TV series The Big 80's, that aired from 1994 until 2000 and ran for 90 minutes.

The compilation includes Duran Duran's tenth single "New Moon on Monday", released in January 1984. There is also The Bangles, a band that performed with Duran Duran at the Irvine Meadow show in 1987 and singer Susanna Hoffs later sung on "Follow In My Footsteps" with Simon Le Bon. Duran Duran band photography is by Michael Putland.
