Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is a popular English nursey rhyme, covered by Simon Le Bon in 1997.

About the rhyme

The English lyrics were first published as a poem with the title "The Star" by sisters Ann and Jane Taylor in Rhymes for the Nursery, published in London during 1806. It is sung to the tune of the French melody "Ah! vous dirai-je, Maman" (oldest known publication is 1761).

Simon Le Bon sung the rhyme at the Privacy Studio in London, which was broadcast via an ISDN link on the radio morning show on Star94 in Atlanta on 24 December 1997. During the broadcast Simon and Warren Cuccurullo also performed acoustic versions of "Michael You've Got A Lot To Answer For" and "Who Do You Think You Are?".
