Toronto Forum is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during David Bowie's Glass Spider Tour at the Molson CNE Stadium in Toronto, ON, Canada on 24 August 1987.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Molson CNE Stadium, a 44,649 capacity venue located at Lake Shore Blvd. W. & Ontario Drive in Toronto. This was the fourth of seven shows performed in Canada by Duran Duran in 1987.
The concert was part of the Canadian National Exhibition (The Ex), a two week event billed as the world's largest annual exposition which began in 1879.
Performing as opening act for David Bowie, Duran Duran launched the show with two Canadian no.1 hit singles, "A View to a Kill" and "Notorious".
The setlist was slightly shorter than The Strange Behaviour Tour, that was also performed during this period. This shorter show was missing songs such as "Union of the Snake", "Vertigo (Do the Demolition)" and "Save A Prayer".
Tickets for the event cost around $29.50.
The audio quality of the bootleg is poor, which sounds like it was recorded from long distance.
