Tio Banks is an American keyboard player, who has toured with John Taylor Terroristen.
Biography[]
After a four-year honorable tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps at Quantico, Tionno Banks moved to Los Angeles to study piano, synthesizers and voice at the Dick Grove School of Music. Upon completion, Tio went on tour as the assistant keyboardist for keyboardist Billy Preston, followed by recording, writing and more touring with various artists including Don Was, Khaleb and Mandy Moore.
He has also toured with John Taylor Terroristen during The Baby Steps Tour including a performance at The Roxy in Hollywood (USA) on 30 May 1998, which was released on the 4 track live EP 5.30.98 in 1998.
Tio’s current musical projects include the completion of his debut solo CD entitled Tiopiah, producing Eminem artist Cashus, and touring with the funk-rock-blues band The Boneshakers. When he’s in Los Angeles, Tio teaches private keyboard lessons for the Recording Artist Program.
