Nov 16 | Shooting of the movie "Rambo: First Blood" begins in British Columbia, Canada on this date. Sylvester Stallone said later in interviews that the Rambo red headband was inspired after he "saw a British Pop group wearing headbands on TV". Dire Straits didnt wear headbands in 1981, and Spandau Ballet wore one but it was blue. Duran Duran had all worn headbands in 1981, and the My Own Way video (and appearances) show Simon wearing a red one. She says: "John was playing with the Scalextric car set he’d bought himself, when the phone went, I could hear he was arranging to see Janine". Roberta couldnt eat a bite of her Christmas Dinner.
