The XLO Music Loft is an unofficial Duran Duran live album recorded in the morning at the XLO Music Loft, located in Commercial Street, Downtown Worcester, MA, USA on the 27 April 2011.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of an acoustic performance by Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Dominic Brown and Anna Ross, which was presented by Worcester, MA based WXLO 104.5 FM Radio.
The day after the Montreal show in Canada, The All You Need Is Now Tour moved to the US state of Massachusetts. Some hours before playing the Royale Theatre, Boston show on the 27 April, band members performed this intimate show in front of an audience of selected WXLO 104.5 FM Radio listeners.
Wearing a Green T designed by Duran Duran, Simon Le Bon introduced the first track by saying "We are going to play a song from our new album All You Need Is Now. This is "Leave A Light On", about redemption. When you find yourself in a lonely place and someone helps you out."
