The Wright Stuff: 12 September 2008 is a British television chat show hosted by Matthew Wright, which featured Andy Taylor on that date.

About the show[]

Broadcast each weekday by Channel 5 in the UK between 9:15am and 11:00am, host Matthew Wright is joined by two regular panel members and a third special guest. The guest changes daily while the panel changes every week. Regular panel members include TV presenters, journalists, comedians, politicians, actors, singers and entertainers.

The day after Andy Taylor appeared on BBC Breakfast, he was guest on The Wright Stuff. Wright commented that Taylor was a driving force behind Princess Diana's favourite band, helping Duran Duran to sell over one hundred million records, thanks to hits such as "Rio" and "Girls on Film". Adding, you can now read about events from behind the scenes in Andy's revealing new book Wild Boy: My Life In Duran Duran.

Wright asked Taylor, "At what point did you think about telling it all?". He responded by saying "I departed for the second time in 2006, I'm sort of touching the hem of 50 and so have to change the life style".

The interview covered "The Wild Boys" music video, with Taylor commenting that it was probably the most expensive video made by a British artist at the time and cost around one million pounds to make. He also said that there would have been additional costs if filming had gone past midnight, so five minutes before they had to blow the set up for some of the scenes.

Taylor later reviewed the newspapers of the day.
