The Wild Mix 1985 is a unofficial Duran Duran limited edition mixed 12" vinyl single, originally released in Italy during 1985.

About the single[]

Released as a numbered limited-edition, the single contains two mixes featuring various songs by Duran Duran. The single was first released with reverve cover artwork printed with facsimile autographs of the five original band members.

Part 1: The main theme of this mix is "The Wild Boys" with a fusion of "The Reflex" and "Union of the Snake" in the first half. The second half includes "New Moon on Monday" and "Hungry Like The Wolf".

Part 2: This is a more upbeat mix with the main theme being "Girls on Film". Other tracks included in the mix are "Planet Earth", "Rio", "My Own Way", "Faster Than Light" and "Hold Back the Rain".

The single was later released as an unofficial CD version (PROCD-1985MIX), housed in a special slim, soft plastic case with a cover sticker and fake Capitol Records logo printed on the disc.
