Produced by New York based Westwood One radio, the album was issued with a cue sheet for radio presenters and used for licence broadcast in the USA on 8 June 1998.
The recording contains commercials and six live tracks by various artists. Each live recording features a short introduction and outro from an announcer, plus the disc also includes each track without any spoken presentation.
Included is a live version of "Planet Earth" performed by Duran Duran, a recording which is also available as video footage on the Live at Hammersmith '82! DVD, released in 2009.
