The Pearl Las Vegas is an unofficial Duran Duran live DVD, recorded during The Summer Tour at The Pearl, Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, USA on 10 July 2009.

About the DVDr[]

The DVDr is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at The Pearl, Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, a 2,500 capacity venue located in West Flamingo Road. This was the only show performed by the band in the state of Nivada on the tour.

Just over a year after playing two consecutive nights at The Joint that included the May 9, 2008 show, Duran Duran returned to Las Vegas.

With only a few streamers as the backdrop, the band took to the visibly bare stage and opened the show with "The Wild Boys". "Hold Back the Rain" soon followed, featured twice on this bootleg.

The DVD also includes a James Bond-movie theme medley consisting of "Goldfinger", "Diamonds Are Forever" and "You Only Live Twice" as an introduction to "A View to a Kill", an arrangement first performed with Mark Ronson during the 2009 Experience Paris show.

Tickets for the event were priced at $79, $104 and $154. The concert poster features Duran Duran photography by Stephanie Pistel.

The bootleg is incomplete, missing ten songs/part medleys from the setlist. Duran Duran continued the tour the following evening, playing the Orange County show on 11 July.
