The Cambridge Junction is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded at The Junction in Cambridge, UK on 8 September 2011.
About the album[]
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at The Junction, an intimate venue located at Clifton Way in Cambridge. This was the second of four low key 'rehearsal shows', warming up for their delayed All You Need Is Now Tour shortly after Simon Le Bon's throat problem.
One week after performing the Bournemouth concert on 1 September, Duran Duran took to the stage for their first ever show in the university town of Cambridge.
The band opened with four songs from their latest album All You Need Is Now, including the title track. "Come Undone" from 1993 soon followed, before Duran Duran then launched into more new tracks ("Safe" and "Other People's Lives").
The evening finished with an encore featuring "Girl Panic!" and "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise".
Tickets for the event cost around £28.00.
The bootleg is incomplete, missing seven songs from the setlist.
Duran Duran continued their series of rehearsal shows the following evening, performing at The Trinity Center in Bristol, UK on 9 September.
