The Best Of James Bond: 30th Anniversary Collection is 19-track compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released by EMI in 1992.

About the album[]

The album is a collection of James Bond movie themes compiled from the first 1962 film Dr. No up to License To Kill in 1989. The compilation includes "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" performed by The John Barry Orchestra, with John later producing the A View To A Kill soundtrack and also co-writting the song "A View To A Kill" with Duran Duran. Lifelong James Bond fan John Taylor met producer Cubby Broccoli at a London party which led to the band being introduced to John Barry and recording their movie theme. Duran Duran would later perform a James Bond song medley during The Summer Tour in 2009, which included the Edinburgh Castle Concert and the Lovebox Weekend Festival Show.

The compilation also features "Live And Let Die" by Paul McCartney & Wings, and Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better" from the 1977 Spy Who Loved Me movie.
