Thank You: Press Pack (UK version) is a promotional-only Duran Duran item, released in the UK by EMI during 1995.
About the press pack[]
The press pack was issued to the media in the UK to promote Thank You, a 1995 album of cover songs performed by Duran Duran.
The item includes a 4-page band biography, an interview transcript and information about the album. The pages were issued in a full colour illustrated card folder, featuring images representing each song on the Thank You album. This includes artwork for "Perfect Day", designed by Eric Roinestad.
There is a long lost EPK for this album produced by Charles Thompson and directed by Clive Richards, a friend of Nick Rhodes. It features Flavour Flav, the White Lines video and the band in some unusual setups, all shot on 35mm for what was then the most expensive EPK in history at the time. Lou Reed said on the electronic press kit that accompanied the album that Duran Duran's version of "Perfect Day" was "The best cover ever completed of one of my own songs" This comes from the Thank You Wikipedia page.
