Thank You, Philly.... is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Radio Station Festival Tour at the Y100 Festival Show, Mann Music Center in Philadelphia, PA, USA on 2 June 1995.

About the album[]

The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Mann Music Center, a 14,000 capacity summer venue located in Fairmount Park. This was only show performed in the state of Pennsylvania on the tour.

The event was sponsored by Y100, a former radio station in Philadelphia that's now branded as WXPN.

The tour consisted of twelve shows in the USA, which followed the release of Duran Duran's cover album Thank You on 4 April 1995. These concert were also the last to feature John Taylor, before he temporarily left the band in 1997.

Duran Duran opened the show with their first US hit single "Hungry Like the Wolf", then launched into a rousing version of Bowie's 1973 hit "Rebel Rebel".

During the evening, Melle Mel appeared on stage as special guest to perform on "White Lines", a song he recorded with Duran Duran for the Thank You album.

Other cover songs played include Iggy Pop's "Success", and "The Message" originally by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

Tickets for the event cost around $15.00.
