Strange To Number (A Darker Side) is an unofficial compilation album, featuring a collection of Duran Duran tracks recorded from 1979 to 2004.

About the album[]

The compilation comprises of album tracks, B-sides and unreleased recordings.

"Reincarnation" is included, a track taken from the 1979 Demo which features Andy Wickett (then known as Fane) on vocals.

"Late Bar" was originally released as the B-side to Duran Duran's debut single "Planet Earth" in 1981.

"Salt in the Rainbow" is an Astronaut demo track, recorded by the original five members of Duran Duran.

The only single on the album is "Ordinary World", which is included as an acoustic version.

The final track "Drive By" (Silver) is a mix of three different versions of "The Chauffeur".
