Sphere Studios is a large modern recording studio in Battersea, London (UK), where Duran Duran have recorded several albums including All You Need Is Now and the bulk of Astronaut.
Background[]
Launched in 2000 the facility was converted from a photographic studio by Francesco Cameli, and designed by acoustic consultancy Munro Associates. The facility has three control rooms dedicated to tracklaying, stereo audio mixing and 5.1 surround sound mixing, all with full sound-to-picture facilities. There are also six production rooms, a bar, a restaurant and several private lounges within the complex.
