"Someday, Somehow, Someone's Gotta Pay" (promo) is an unofficial limited edition single by The Power Station, released in Argentina by GD Records during 2005.

About the single[edit | edit source]

This is an ink-jet printed CDr housed in cardboard sleeve with a single-sided lyrics insert. The release is a bonus disc with the limited CDr set entitled "The Power Station: The Singles Box Set", released by GD Records.

The song was written by vocalist Michael Des Barres for the 1985 movie Commando, through his friendship with the film's producer Joel Silver.

Originally titled "We Fight For Love", the song features in the final credits of Commando. From 1985 to 2005 it was only available on the film. Then in 2005, Capitol-EMI released The Power Station (2 Disc Set) for which this song now appears as a bonus track under the new title of "Someday, Somehow, Someone's Gotta Pay".

The track is a cross between a love song and a rally-cry for a warrior. The title "Someday, Somehow, Someone's Gotta Pay" was taken from the film poster.

Also included is a live cover version of "Dancing in the Street", recorded at the Hartford Civic Center, Connecticut, USA, during The 1985 North America, Summer Tour.
