"Simon Le Bon" (First Ever Record) is an unreleased Simon Le Bon 7" vinyl single, produced in the UK by Studio Republic during 1971.
About the record[]
This is Simon Le Bon's first ever record. The recording features Le Bon, aged 13, performing four tracks with the Church organist in Pinner.
Le Bon joined the local church choir at St John's in Pinner High Street, Middlesex, and took choir practice under the supervision of Mr. Turvey the church organist. He attended the choir twice during the week and twice on Sundays.
This was where Le Bon made, what would later prove to be his first of many records. He was just 13 and a local recording company came along and recorded Le Bon and Michael Turvey performing church hymns. Unfortunately this recording was never released to the public.
In fact there were just two copies made, one each for Le Bon and Mr. Turvey.
