Samba Sunset is a 13-track compilation album featuring Simon Le Bon, released by Nettwerk Records on 27 July 2004.
About the album[]
The album is collection of songs compiled by DJ Ray Valasquez and was released by Nettwerk Records, which prior to this CD had specialised in dance compilations. The tracks were chosen for North American music listeners who had a taste in Brazillian-style music, however very little of the music on Samba Sunset is pure samba and purely Brazilian. The tracks are mainly of North American, European and Japanese origin, with downtempo thythms.
The compilation includes "Save A Prayer" performed by Simon Le Bon and Silvio Anastacio, which was originally released on the Nick Wood produced Japanese White Day celebration album From The Heart in 2002.
