"Rosalie" is a rock song by American singer Bob Seger, released on his Back In '72 album in 1973. The song has been covered by Andy Taylor in concert.
About the song[]
Bob Seger wrote the song in tribute to Rosalie Trombley, the program director of CKLW-AM in Windsor, Ontario, which was one of North America's leading Top 40 radio stations of the 1960s and '70s.
The song was made more famous by the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, who originally recorded it for their 1975 album Fighting; another recording included on their live album Live and Dangerous in 1978 became a hit single in the UK in the same year.
Andy Taylor covered the song in concert during 1987, performing with a band line-up that included former Missing Persons' bass player Patrick O'Hearn.

She's quite the mediator A smoother operator you will never see She'll see you later And no one dares disobey her openly She knows music, I know music too you see She's got the power, the teen queen Rosalie Rosalie, Rosalie She's got the plastic Comes from all the corner's corners of the world So fantastic She's everybody's favorite little record girl She knows music, I know music too you see She's got the power, she's got the tower Rosalie, Rosalie From Chattanooga, to good old Bogalusa You can hear them fine She makes her choices And then you best be smilin' when it's choosin' time
