About the show[]

Broadcast each weekday between 12:00 noon and 3:00pm, the show features a broad variety of guests from the fields of news, sport and entertainment. On 21 January 2011, Elms also spoke with artist Doug Foster about his first solo show, In The Naughty Chair.

After "All You Need Is Now" (R2V2 Mix) was played, Elms began his interview with Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor by talking about Duran Duran's 13th studio album All You Need Is Now, and how music had come full circle since the 1980s. Rhodes added that, on reflection, the 80s was pretty radical for music, fashion and design.

They talked about how the band were moving further and further away from their musical roots since their debut album Duran Duran, and how Mark Ronson told them not to be afraid to be themselves. They added that Ronson wanted to make the follow-up album to Rio. The interview also covered Red Carpet Massacre, with Taylor commenting that it was an experiment which didn't work with their audience, but was a fun album to perform live.

The interview finished with a discussion about a 2011 tour and a performance at London's 20,000-seat 02 Arena, a venue in which Duran Duran have only played once, which was on 3 July 2008 (London O2 Arena: 3 July 2008).
