The album is a collection of songs by various artists compiled by Alan Cross, a radio show host for the Toronto alternative rock radio station CFNY 102.1 (aka The Edge).

The compilation includes Duran Duran's third single "Girls on Film" and The Power Station's debut single "Some Like It Hot".

Billy Idol is also featured, an artist who performed with the Neurotic Outsiders during The Viper Room show in Hollywood, CA, USA on 16 October 1995.

Talk Talk were produced by Colin Thurston in the early 1980s. Band member Mark Hollis was an opening act on various Duran Duran Careless Memories Tour shows in 1981.
