Religion is an unofficial Duran Duran live 12" vinyl album, recorded during The Rio Tour at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, UK on 15 November 1982.
About the album[]
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Hammersmith Odeon, a 5,039 capacity venue located at 45 Queen Caroline Street in London. The show was the fourteenth date of twenty seven performed in the UK on the tour.
Highlights of this show were broadcast by BBC Radio in 1982 using the BBC Rock Hour 404 vinyl album. There was also a later version aired on the BBC Rock Hour 83, which was the same show but with a longer intro.
The album features a faster version of "Lonely In Your Nightmare" and an energetic performance of "Friends of Mine". This concert has also been released on many other bootlegs including In Person.
