Radio Promo 95 is an unofficial Duran Duran live compilation album, recorded at 3 different shows during The Radio Festival Tour in 1995.

About the album[]

Part 1: This was recorded at the Q101 Jamboree, World Music Theatre, Tinley Park in Chicago, IL USA on 27 May 1995.

These tracks include guest Melle Mel contributing on "White Lines". The show began with several false starts as John Taylor's equipment fails to work properly, resulting in him walking off stage in disgust. Nick Rhodes went to find, while Warren Cuccurullo and Simon Le Bon performed an unplanned "Crystal Ship".

Part 2: This section contains four tracks recorded at Musique Plus in Montreal, QC, Canada on 26 May 1995.

Part 3: The final part is from the KIIS and Unite show at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, Irvine in Los Angeles, CA, USA on 24 June 1995.

Filmed for ZTV, this was a festival show that included other bands performing. When Duran Duran appeared on stage hundreds of the audience left, embarrassed and angry their performance suffered as they played to a half empty stadium. This was to be John Taylor's last live performance before he left the band for a number of years.
