featuring Duran Duran |
Promo Anglo: 1-99 is a promotional-only compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released in Colombia by EMI during 1999.
About the album[]
This is a rare promo CD featuring a collection of songs by various artists. The compilation includes a Duran Duran medley, which features the Bond-movie theme "A View To A Kill".
The album also includes The Smashing Pumpkins, a band who performed "Night Boat" with Simon Le Bon in 1998 (bootlegged on Transmission). Singer Billy Corgan later joined Duran Duran on stage during The Red Carpet Massacre Tour in Chicago (bootlegged on Chicago: May 14, 2008).
UB40 are a Birmingham raggae band once produced by Bob Lamb, during the same period he was working with Duran Duran on early demos.
