Portland 1987 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during David Bowie's Glass Spider Tour at the Civic Stadium in Portland, Oregon, USA on 14 August 1987.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Civic Stadium, a 20,000 capacity venue located on a rectangular block bounded by Southwest Morrison Street, Southwest 18th Avenue and Southwest Salmon Street in Portland.
This was the only show performed in the state of Oregan by Duran Duran during 1987.
Performing as David Bowie's opening act, Duran Duran launched this Friday evening show at 6:30pm with their US Billboard Hot 100 no.1 hit single "A View to a Kill".
The bootleg is an audience recording. "Save A Prayer" fades out and resumes during the middle of the song at about 1:30 minutes, most likely when a cassette was flipped over.
