Pop Trash: New Years Eve At Orlando - 1st Show is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Pop Trash Tour at Pleasure Island, Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL, USA on 31 December 2000.

About the album[]

The album is the complete recording of Duran Duran's performance at Pleasure Island, an area of Walt Disney World Resort that officially opened on 1 May 1989.

This was the first of two shows performed by the band at Pleasure Island on New's Years Eve 2000. The first began at 8:00pm, when Duran Duran took to the stage and launched into their third single "Girls on Film".

The setlist was a selection of hit singles, mixed with several new songs from Pop Trash.

After finishing the show with "Rio", Duran Duran returned to the stage at 10:00pm for their second performance of the day. Nile Rodgers and Chic also played two shows that night, between and after the Duran Duran sets.

The evening closed with a firework display at midnight, a Pleasure Island tradition that lasted from 1990 through New Year's Eve 2005.
