Planet Waves were a Swedish rock band active in the 1990, who were a support act for Duran Duran in 1995.

Background informationEdit

In 1994, the band released their debut single "Lost Religion", which was later included on their debut 1995 album Brutal Awakenings. Two more singles were taken from the album in 1995, "Superficial" and "Ain't That a Shame".

Planet Waves were the opening act for Duran Duran at the X-Ray Club, in Copenhagen, Denmark on 5 May 1995. The show also featured guest Melle Mel.
