Planet Heart is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Rio Tour at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, UK on 16 November 1982.
About the album[]
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Hammersmith Odeon, a 5,039 capacity venue located at 45 Queen Caroline Street in London. The show was the fifthteenth date of twenty seven performed in the UK on the tour.
This was the first Duran Duran bootleg to be released on CD, back in 1989. The sleeve was mislabelled as a recording from New York, USA on 22 November 1984.
The album includes "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)", a track released as "The Reflex" B-side in 1984.
"Girls on Film" is a Night Version long performance, featuring band introductions and brief solos by each member of Duran Duran.
