Now That's What I Call Remix: CD 1 is an unofficial compilation album, featuring a collection of Duran Duran remixes created by various DJs and producers.

About the album[]

The album includes "Save A Prayer" (Steve Anderson's DMC Remix), a track also known as The Thunder In Our Hearts Mix and originally released on the DJ only DMC: Remix Culture 4/92 12" single.

As a first for the band, "Notorious" was released as two separate 12" singles in 1986. The first had a Nile Rodgers produced Extended Mix while the second featured a remix by The Latin Rascals, which is featured on this album.

The album's front cover picture of Duran Duran also features on the Nite Romantics EP, a photograph taken at Birmingham's Rum Runner nightclub in the early 1980s. The reverse cover photographs are by Gered Mankowitz, originally used on most European versions of the "Girls on Film" single sleeve (see album & single covers).
