"Notoriousaurus Rex" is a megamix by Duran Duran, released on the EP Master Mixes by Capitol Records in 1987.
About the megamix[]
The megamix was assembled by Tuta Aquino, using Notorious album remixes ("Vertigo", "Skin Trade", "American Science", "Notorious", and "Meet El Presidente") created by Daniel Abraham, Mark S. Berry, Murray Elias, Justin Strauss, The Latin Rascals, Larry Levan, Curtis/Mantronik and Nile Rodgers.
The recording is known as the "Notoriousaurus Rex" (Master Mix) or "Master Mix" (Notoriousaurus Rex).
The first release of "Notoriousaurus Rex" was on the Master Mixes double 12" EP, while a promo version with an added segment of "Proposition" was first exclusively released on the cassette compilation Brave Music For A New World. The promo version is now officially available on the Notorious: Special Editions 2010 remastered CD and download.
