Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80s: 64-28 is a radio show album featuring Duran Duran, released in the USA by Radio Concepts during 2004.

About the album[]

Issued with cue sheets, the album was used for licence broadcast during the weekend of 5th and 11th of July 2004.

Absolutely 80s was presented by Nina Blackwood, an American disc jockey, music journalist and one of the original MTV VJs. The show plays a variety of 80s music, with updates on some of the various artists. There are also interviews (usually by phone) and a Top 5 countdown in middle of the programme.

Duran Duran's "Notorious" is included at no.2 on a January 1987 US Top 5 Singles countdown, the first song by the band to be released as two separate 12" singles. The first had a Nile Rodgers produced "Extended Mix", while the second featured a remix by The Latin Rascals.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood are also included, a band Simon Le Bon and John Taylor joined on stage at the MTV New Year's Eve Rock'n'Roll Ball on 31 December 1984.
