New York: 11 January 1994 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Dilate Your Mind Tour at the Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY, USA on 11 January 1994.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Radio City Music Hall, a 6,015 capacity venue located in New York City's Rockefeller Center.

Originally scheduled for October 1993, the show was part of eleven US dates performed by Duran Duran in 1994.

After British band James kicked off the evening, Duran Duran took to the stage for their first ever show at the Radio City Music Hall. The crowd erupted when the band burst into the first song "Too Much Information". With Simon Le Bon dressed a silver suit and John Taylor wearing in a kilt, the show continued with the James Bond-movie theme "A View to a Kill".

The next song was a slow version of "Hungry Like the Wolf", then Le Bon introduced "Ordinary World" with a short speech.

During the show, there was an acoustic rendition of "Skin Trade", followed by a cover version of "White Lines".

Before the final song "The Wild Boys", Duran Duran performed "Save A Prayer" featuring John Taylor playing a stand-up bass.

Tickets for the event cost around $35.00.
