N.E.C. TV Show 1983 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Sing Blue Silver Tour at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, UK on 12 December 1983.
About the album[]
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the NEC Arena, a 16,000 capacity venue located adjacent to Birmingham International Airport. This was the sixth of fourteen shows performed in the UK on the tour.
Featured on the album is an audio recording of a British TV broadcast by The Tube, first aired by Channel 4 on Friday 16 December 1983. This was four days after Duran Duran played the show.
The recording includes an interview with Simon, Nick and John, plus live tracks of Duran Duran's performance.
Tickets for the show cost around £6.50. Official Sing Blue Silver Tour programmes cost £2.50 each.
