Motherlode is a unreleased studio album by Andy Taylor.
About the album[]
This is a rock album, recorded at Taylor's state-of-the-art Studios Ibiza. Motherlode includes "Choises", a track written only months before the Duran Duran reunion in 2000. The song was added to the album track listing in May 2011, after it was re-discovered when Taylor was jammin’ with drummer 'Greenie' at Blast studios in Newcastle. "Choises" features a late 70′s New Wave sound on the bass, with one guitar driving throughout. Taylor went with "Choises", the Chinese word for cabbage instead of the regular spelling because of URL availability.
Also included is "Visible Target", a much more intense version of an earlier public demo recording. The track opens with drums on the warpath and quickly stuns with signature Andy Taylor guitar chords.
