Man Meat is the debut album by Swahili Blonde, released by Mamimal Vinyl in July 2010. The album features John Taylor.
About the album[]
The album is by Swahili Blonde, an experimental musical project formed in Los Angeles, CA, USA in 2009. Founded by former WEAVE! drummer and vocalist Nicole Turley, Swahili Blonde also includes former Red Hot Chilli Pepper guitarist John Frusciante, violinist and bassist Laena Myers-Ionita, John Taylor and multi-instrumentalists Stella Mozgawa and Michael Quinn amongst its contributors.
Man Meat includes the band's first two digital singles "Elixor Fixor", which was released on iTunes on 13 December 2009 and "Dr. Teeth" released in March 2010. The song "Tigress Ritual" was co-written by John Taylor, who also performs bass on the track.
