Los Angeles 1987 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Strange Behaviour Tour at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, CA, USA on 25 July 1987.

About the album[]

The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Great Western Forum, a 18,000 capacity venue located at 3900 West Manchester Blvd in Inglewood. This was the third of seven shows performed in the state of California on the tour.

After opening act Erasure, Duran Duran took to the stage for their second consecutive night at the venue. Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes, backed by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, drummer Steve Ferrone, three horn players and two backing singers opened with a rousing version of "A View to a Kill".

The set was a blend of material from Notorious, mixed with their biggest hits and fan favorites.

Tickets for the event cost around $17.50.
