Live In Central Park is an unofficial Duran Duran live album recorded at MTV's Rock 'n' Roll Ball Show, the Palladium in New York, USA on 31 December 1982.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Palladium, a concert hall (and later a nightclub) in New York City. The venue was located on the south side of East 14th Street, between Irving Place and 3rd Avenue.
This bootleg was mislabeled as a recording from 8 August 1982 in Central Park, but on that date, Duran Duran were performing at Poplar Creek in Chicago, USA as a support act for Blondie's Tracks Across America Tour.
Originally broadcast live on MTV, the show was also simulcast on FM radio for the King Biscuit Flower Hour.
In 2010, an unofficial DVD version called MTV New Year's Eve Ball 1982 was released.
