Live In Brighton is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Sing Blue Silver Tour at the Brighton Centre in Brighton, UK on 16 December 1983.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Brighton Centre, a 4,500 capacity venue located in the centre of Brighton on the sea front. This was the ninth of fourteen shows performed in the UK on the tour.
The show featured a slightly different setlist compared to other UK dates, with "New Religion" and "The Chauffeur" missing. The songs that replaced these are "My Own Way" and "Of Crime and Passion", performed in the same position as the Australian tour.
This was the last concert that presented this type of setlist. From the first of five Wembley shows 18 December, Duran Duran performed songs in the order familiar with the USA leg of the tour. This included shows such as Sing Blue Madison.
The album front cover features Duran Duran photography by Jeff Hornbaker.
