Live At Odeon (picture disc) is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Careless Memories Tour at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, UK on 17 December 1981.

About the album[]

The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Hammersmith Odeon, a 5,039 capacity venue located at 45 Queen Caroline Street in London. This was the twelfth show of seventeen performed in the UK on the tour.

Presented as a 12" vinyl picture disc, the album features the only recording from The Careless Memories Tour, apart from the 6-track Off the Record show.

During the 1990s this recording was reworked with quick-filters and released on CD bootlegs such as Perfect Days: Now and Then and Live At Odeon.

The album includes "Last Chance on the Stairway", played before the song featured on the Rio album in 1982. This live recording of "Last Chance on the Stairway" was released as the B-side to "Hungry Like the Wolf".

The show was recorded by the BBC for radio broadcast, then released on the radio vinyl albums In Concert - 272 and BBC College Concert: 9-12-82. A download version was available as BBC In Concert: Hammersmith Odeon in 2010.

The A-side features Duran Duran photography by Rebecca Blake, taken from the 1983 Seven and the Ragged Tiger album.
