Lisbon: 10 July 2008 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Red Carpet Massacre Tour at the Super Bock Super Rock Festival, Taguspark in Lisbon, Portugal on 10 July 2008.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Super Bock Super Rock Festival, an event created in 1994. This was Duran Duran's first performance at the Portuguese festival.
The concert began with instrumental music from A Clockwork Orange and searchlights sweeping over the crowd. Simon Le Bon stood front and center of the stage. Fog rose behind him, illuminated with flashes of sharp colored lights, that framed his silhouette.
Then the band struck the opening chords of "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise", the first of many hits played during the set.
"Come Undone" featured vocals by Anna Ross, which was followed by the band's most successful single "The Reflex". Duran Duran rounded up the evening with an encore that finished with "Rio".
Tickets for the event cost around 40.00 Euros.
