Jones Beach 2000 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Pop Trash Tour at Jones Beach Amphitheatre in Wantagh, Long Island, NY, USA on 9 August 2000.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at Jones Beach Amphitheatre, a 15,000 capacity outdoor venue located in Jones Beach State Park. This was the only show performed in the state of New York on the tour.

With the stage overlooking Zachs Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, Duran Duran opened the show with Pop Trash's hard edge "Last Day on Earth".

Two hits from the 80s followed, before the band played "Playing With Uranium", the second song taken from their latest release Pop Trash.

During the evening there was an energetic performance of "A View to a Kill", a song played at Live Aid in front of an estimated 400 million TV viewers.

The second encore featured "All She Wants Is", which was the last time Duran Duran played the song as an encore. "All She Wants Is" had "Girls on Film" cutting in.

Tickets for the event cost around $39.50.
