Jesolo: July 20, 2008 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Red Carpet Massacre Tour at the Spritz on the Beach, Spiaggia del Faro in Jesolo, Italy on 20 July 2008.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Spiaggia del Faro, located in Jesolo on the coast of the Adriatic Sea.
The Spritz on the Beach is a well-established brand and event that is strongly identified with the summer in Jesolo. This outdoor concert was the fifth of six dates performed by the band in Italy on the tour.
The setlist was different to other Red Carpet Massacre Tour dates, where the band performed a six song Kraftwerk style electro set in the middle of their shows.
The bootleg begins with "The Valley", a new song from the Red Carpet Massacre album. "The Reflex" is a song which reached no.11 on the Italian Singles Chart, sung during the concert as rain fell.
The evening finished with an encore consisting of "The Wild Boys" and "Rio".
