About the album[]
This is a Westwood One radio show album originally aired during the week of 5 July 1993.
The album features live tracks from a Duran Duran show, recorded at Tower Records in Hollywood, CA, USA on 15 May 1993.
The show was a midnight performance beamed simultaneously to Hard Rock Cafes in London, Sidney and Tokyo. Tickets to the event could not be purchased and had to be won in a radio station contest.
With the exception of an electronic keyboard played by Nick Rhodes, the show was almost totally acoustic.
The recordings of "Hungry Like the Wolf", "Come Undone" and "Notorious" received official releases as B-sides separately on various "Too Much Information" CD singles. These tracks are also included together on the promo only cassette No Ordinary EP, which was given away free with the "Too Much Information" cassette single in the USA (4KM 0777 7 44955 4 7).
The CD was released in a Westwood One sleeve with a cue sheet for radio presenters.
