Written by Hazel O'Connor, "Time" was the first single released from O'Connor's 1980 album Sons & Lovers.
The two B-side tracks were both recorded live at London's Dominion Theatre on the final night of O'Conner's Megahype Tour for which Duran Duran were the support act. The recording of "Suffragette City" features Simon Le Bon joining the band on stage and performing backing vocals.
