Fukuoka 1984 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Sing Blue Silver Tour at the Fukuoka International Centre in Fukuoka, Japan on 22 January 1984.
About the album[]
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Fukuoka International Centre, a 10,000 capacity venue built in 1981. The show was fourth of seven dates performed in Japan on the tour.
This was Duran Duran's first ever show in Fukuoka.
After the 5th night at Wembley on 23 December 1983, Duran Duran took a break with their families and continued the tour in Japan on 17 January 1984 in Sendai.
On tour in support of Duran Duran's third studio album, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, the show featured six songs from the album including "The Reflex".
The bootleg is missing the final encore song of "Girls on Film", with band introductions.
The Japanese tour poster incorporates the Seven and the Ragged Tiger artwork, which includes photography by Rebecca Blake.
