From The Heart - A Collection of Love Songs About Love is a promotional-only compilation album featuring Simon Le Bon, released in Japan by SYN Songs during March 2002.
About the album[]
The album is a collection of songs by various artists, produced by Simon Le Bon's co-founded SYN Productions. From The Heart was exclusively available during the 2002 Japanese White Day Festival (Valentines Day) and only distributed from Starbucks Coffee Stores in Japan.
The compilation features a specially recorded duet by Simon Le Bon and Silvio Anastacio, performing Save A Prayer" with four verses sung in Portuguese.
Also included is "Say You Will" by Robert Palmer, a track Palmer co-wrote with Rupert Hine. "Beat of My Heart" is a song co-written by Simon Le Bon, Nick Souter and Nick Wood, which later featured on Nico's "Lovely World" single in August 2002.
The CD was released within a 5.5" x 8" hard back book that included a 14-page integral lyric booklet, containing both Japanese and English text.
