Frankfurt May 9th 1987 is an unofficial Duran Duran 18-track 2 CD live album.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Festhalle in Frankfurt (Germany) on 9 May 1987, during The Strange Behaviour Tour. This was the band's first concert performance in Frankfurt, which was one of seven in Germany on the tour. The concert featured a new look Duran Duran with Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes playing in a 10 strong band line-up.

The album includes back-to-back cover versions of the debut singles by Duran Duran side project bands Arcadia and the Power Station, which are "Election Day" and "Some Like It Hot".

Tickets for the event cost around 34.00 Deutsche Marks.
